Welcome to TalentEdge, a job search assistant platform. By using our service and purchasing a Job Application Plan, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, uploading information, selecting a Job Application Plan, or using TalentEdge in any capacity, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Services Provided

TalentEdge provides job search support delivered entirely by trained human specialists. We identify suitable job opportunities and apply for roles on your behalf based on your resume, background, and job preferences. Our services currently support job seekers in technology roles across the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.

3. User Consent and Authorization

By purchasing a Job Application Plan, you authorize TalentEdge's human team to use the information you provide (resume, profile details, and preferences) to search for suitable jobs and submit applications on your behalf. This authorization is required for TalentEdge to perform its services.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information
  • Ensuring your resume and details match the roles you want
  • Reviewing the job applications and communications sent on your behalf
  • Informing TalentEdge if you want to stop the Job Application Plan before work has begun

5. Job Application Plan Fees

All fees cover the services included in your chosen Job Application Plan. Fees are paid upfront and are non-recurring.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 No Refunds Once Job Application Work Begins

Once TalentEdge begins working on your job applications—including reviewing your documents, identifying roles, or preparing/submitting applications—no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

This applies to all Job Application Plans.

6.2 Refunds Before Work Begins (Discretionary Only)

Before TalentEdge begins any job application work, a refund may be considered, but:

  • Refunds are not guaranteed
  • Refunds are issued only at the full discretion and authorization of TalentEdge
  • TalentEdge reserves the right to decline any refund request without explanation

If approved, refunds will be processed within 10 working days.

7. Privacy and Data Use

TalentEdge uses your information solely to deliver your Job Application Plan and comply with legal obligations. Your data will never be shared without consent, except when required to provide services or by law.

8. Google Gmail Data Access and Use

TalentEdge provides optional email management support using shared Gmail accounts created for job-related communications.

8.1 Google User Data We Access

We only access data from shared Gmail accounts created for your job applications. We do not access your personal Gmail account.

Access may include:

  • Gmail messages (content, subject lines, sender/recipient info, timestamps, metadata)
  • Email threads related to job applications
  • Basic profile information belonging to the shared Gmail account

8.2 How We Use Google User Data

We use shared Gmail account data only for:

  • Monitoring job-related communications
  • Sending or responding to job application emails
  • Organizing communications for job search management
  • Linking each shared Gmail account to your applicant profile

No data is used for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

8.3 Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share or transfer data except when:

  • Required by trusted service providers (bound by confidentiality)
  • Required by law or court order
  • Explicitly authorized by you

TalentEdge does not sell, rent, or lease Google user data.

8.4 Data Protection Mechanisms

We employ strong security measures including:

  • Encryption of stored credentials
  • Access limitations to authorized staff only
  • Secure transmission via HTTPS/TLS
  • Secure token storage
  • Routine internal security assessments
  • Full compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

8.5 Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained as long as necessary to fulfill your Job Application Plan and comply with legal requirements.

You may request data deletion by:

  • Contacting support@talentedgecareer.com
  • Requesting deletion of Gmail-related data
  • Asking to revoke OAuth access

We delete applicable data within 30 days unless retention is required by law. Revoking OAuth access stops new data syncing immediately.

8.6 Authorization Process

Shared Gmail account authorization is performed by TalentEdge staff on your behalf. Each account is associated with a single applicant and used exclusively for job search communications.

9. Limitation of Liability

TalentEdge is not liable for job outcomes, delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you, or any damages arising from the use of our platform, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to Terms

TalentEdge may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform or purchase of a Job Application Plan constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

By purchasing a Job Application Plan or using TalentEdge, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.
